The 24th World Dredging Congress & Exhibition (WODCON XXIV) - Save the Date

2023-12-11

The World Organization of Dredging Associations (WODA) is thrilled to announce the 24th World Dredging Congress & Exhibition (WODCON XXIV) will be hosted by the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) and held at the picturesque Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel from June 23-27 2025.

The World Dredging Congress has become the most important and anticipated event for dredging professionals worldwide. WODCONs are the only global event dedicated exclusively to dredging and maritime construction and provide a unique platform for researchers and practitioners from industry, academia, and governments to meet and discuss dredging.

What is WODA?
The World Organization of Dredging Associations (WODA) is an independent, non-profit, professional organization. It is composed of three separate, autonomous sister dredging associations:
• WEDA - Western Dredging Association region covers North, South, and Central America.
• CEDA - Central Dredging Association serving Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
• EADA is the Eastern Dredging Association serving Asia, Australia, and the Pacific region.

What are WODCONs?
World Dredging Congress and Expositions (WODCONs) are held once every three (3) years, and each sister association (WEDA, CEDA & EADA) takes turns hosting the conference.
• WODCON XXI was hosted by WEDA in Miami, FL in 2016
• WODCON XXII was hosted by EADA in Shanghai, China in 2019
• WODCON XXIII was hosted by CEDA in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2022
• WODCON XXIV will be hosted by WEDA in San Diego, CA, in 2025
