new Young CEDA Chair
Kirsten Orsel (Royal IHC) takes over from Jan-Berend Koster (Dutch Dredging) as chair of Young CEDA.
Jan-Berend: "After an inspiring journey as Chair of Young CEDA, I’m excited to share that I’ve officially handed over the role to Kirsten Orsel. It has been an incredible experience to work with such a passionate team, building connections, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities for young professionals in our industry. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful for the support of everyone who contributed along the way. Kirsten brings great energy and vision to the role, and I’m confident she will take Young CEDA to new heights. Wishing her and the team all the best in this next chapter!
Thank you to everyone who made this journey so rewarding. Let’s keep connecting, learning, and growing together!"
Kirsten: "I am honored to take over the chair position from Jan-Berend and look forward to continuing the good work Young CEDA has delivered over the past years. My aim is to further grow the Young CEDA community, by organizing impactful events- not only in the Netherlands but also across borders. I believe the strength of Young CEDA lies in exchanging knowledge, forming new connections, and fostering existing ones, and I am excited to contribute to that.
I look forward to representing Young CEDA and sharing our enthusiasm for the dredging sector with other young professionals and students.
