Abstract: The waterway conditions of the Changjiang River upstream and the Changjiang River mouth have been greatly improved by regulation of the Changjiang River mouth and the Three Gorges Project. The Changjiang River mid-downstream waterway is becoming the key and hard work on the maintenance of the Changjiang River waterway is required. Optimum schemes regarding maintenance dredging construction improvement methods for the waterway, dredger equipment, dredging time etc are presented.
