Abstract: Fast development in agriculture, industry and urbanization in China has caused heavy pollution and sludge deposits. The normal way to deal with sludge in China is natural drying, which may cause secondary pollution and a problem to find a place for drying. The article introduces fast development in filter press technology, and successfully applies changeable chamber membrane squeezing technology in deep and efficient sludge dewatering. Design of deep and high efficient dewatering and solidifying systems for sludge, could reduce the water content in sludge from 98-90% to 40%-55%, This realizes remarkable reduction and stabilization for the sludge, and can be used for harmless and recycling applications, solve secondary sludge pollution and depositing place limitation problems, have obvious result for energy saving and emission reduction. It is a big improvement for mechanically operated sludge dewatering technology, and has obvious economic and society benefit.
