Abstract: For a long period of operation, dredging operators will be prone to visual fatigue, especially at night during dredging. Based on colour theory and combined with the actual working environment, we designed a colour scheme for a software interface, which suits long time viewing and reduces visual fatigue effectively. The new colour scheme of the software interface has been generally welcomed by dredging operators.
