Abstract: The submersible dredge motor produced by PUYOU started to be used in dredgers, and now the large motor with a rated capacity of 1700kw has gone into service in the market. During this period, we have adopted several technical innovations. In this paper, we will introduce some technical achievements of the submersible dredge motor illustrated by a few typical sizes of motor in relation to submersible seal technology, stator structure, and motor protection. With regard to our domestic market, we expect that the submersible motor will have a good future in the dredging industry.
