Abstract: Based on the results of field pullout tests of pressure dispersed anchor cable with different structures in soft soil area, the differences of Q-S curves, Q-Se curves and Q-Se curves between three-unit anchor cable and four-unit anchor cable were analyzed by contrast in detail. The analysis results showed that curve slope of Q-Se curves should be advised as main reference for evaluating anchoring effect of pressure dispersed anchor cable. The anchoring force of four-unit anchor cable could be raised 60 percent than three-unit anchor cable as anchorage segment’s length is longer 1.5m. It was proven that the mechanical mechanism and whole anchoring effect of pressure dispersed anchor cable were determined by different structural forms to some extent. Attention should be paid to the influence of structural differences of pressure dispersed anchor cable in engineering.
