Abstract: The design of side slope gradients, over width and over depth in dredging engineering was introduced first followed by a calculation model that could improve the accuracy and economics when dredging waterways and harbours. Dredging work is generally carried out during the construction and maintenance of harbour, dock and other seashore engineering. In order to improve work efficiency, some software was explored to calculate the earthworks for dredged channels of waterways.
