Abstract: This paper mainly describes the Yangtze River channel construction, maintenance and other basic conditions, as well as the Yangtze River channel regulation projects with the main achievements. Its achievements are mainly reflected in: the substantial improvement of the channel navigable conditions, the increased trafficability of this artery in the Yangtze River and the enhancements of the public service; moreover, the construction idea suited to the governance of great rivers is formed, with some major key technologies getting a breakthrough.
