Abstract

"(Article in Chinese only) - Time spent on the normal construction of a cutter suction dredger includes efficient running time and inefficient running time, necessary idle time. In order to make full use of the production capacity of the cutter suction dredger, it is necessary to increase its effective running time, reduce the inefficient running time and the necessary idle time. The existing research mainly focuses on the cutter suction excavation and mud pump performance, pipeline transportation, ship equipment. Research on ship operations management and time utilization is relatively inadequate. Taking a typical 3500m3/h cutter suction dredger as the research object, using mathematical formula analysis, single factor sensitivity analysis, simulation calculation and other methods, the calculation formula of mining efficiency is obtained. It is concluded that the factors influencing excavation efficiency from strength to weakness are dredging width, swing speed, turning time, pile-changing time and anchor-moving time."
