Abstract
"(Article in Chinese only) - Contrast analysis the difference of site classification, site liquefaction preliminary judgment and judgment, standard penetration test equipment and methods between National and British standards, the calculation indexes and formulas for site division and liquefaction judgment are summarized, and then two standard liquefaction methods are compared and applied with an engineering example in Southeast Asia, and the differences between the two methods in classification of foundation soil and liquefaction judgment for foundation soil by standard penetration test are summarized, which can be used for reference in the future similar overseas projects."
