Abstract

"(Article in Chinese only) - The stability of the cutter suction dredger is the most basic guarantee for safe construction at sea. Based on the finite model of the cutter suction dredger, the time-frequency domain dynamic response of the cutter suction dredger under the combined action of wind, waves and other environmental loads is studied by using the finite element method. Through analyzing the dynamic response characteristics of the cutter and suction dredger in the time domain and frequency domain, the contribution of wave force to the six-motion of the cutter and suction dredger and the variation trend of wave force with frequency are obtained. The results show that both amplitude response operator and wave force of the cutter suction dredger have a large response under the action of low-frequency wave. The motion response of the cutter suction dredger in the pitching, heave and pitching directions is more obvious than the other three directions."
