Abstract

"(Article in Chinese only) - Due to the simple structure and reliable performance, the plate-frame pressure filtration technology is one of the most commonly used environmental dredged sludge dewatering technology. However, since the limited mechanical dewatering performance, various chemicals will be added for deeply dewatering, which will change soil properties and limits the subsequent utilization. Using the electroosmotic technology, we can further dewatering sludge without adding any chemicals. In recent years, researchers have developed the electroosmotic plate-frame pressure filtration technology for deeply dewatering of sludge by coupling electroosmotic dewatering technology with plate-frame pressure filtration technology. After a series of model tests and field tests were completed, the finalized equipment was produced. In this paper, the strength and weakness of plate-frame pressure filtration dewatering technology were briefly introduced. The principle, equipment, processing technology of electroosmotic plate-frame pressure filtration technology was systematically summarized. Finally, considering the particularity of environmental dredged sediment, the application feasibility of the electroosmotic plate-frame pressure filtration technology was discussed."
