Abstract
"The Shatin to Central Link (SCL) rapid transit line is a strategic extension of the Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway (MTR) network that connects several existing railway lines and passes through multiple districts. Project SCL 1121 is a cross-harbor tunnel project which spans about 1,664 m of Immersed Tube (IMT) Tunnel across Victoria Harbour from the Kowloon Peninsula to Causeway Bay on the Hong Kong Island. This manuscript will focus on the gravel foundations for the installation of the Immersed Tube Tunnel (hereinafter referred to as IMT Tunnel)."
