The Markerwadden is a unique project aiming for the restoration of the natural assets of the Marker Lake by the construction of islands made out of sand, clay and silt, providing a new natural paradise for birds, fish andplants. This excursion offers a boat trip on the beautiful sailing ship ‘Abel Tasman’ and guided tour on the islands, to learn about the construction process and to witness the scale of the project.
