CEDA-UK Seminar - Dredging in the Harwich Haven

This is an ARCHIVED EVENT

CEDA Members can download the presentations here, you need to SIGN IN first

CEDA-UK would like to invite you to this (free) half day seminar.

A major project is currently underway to deepen the Harwich Haven approach channel.  The works will ensure the Port of Felixstowe continues to be a leading facility in global shipping. A range of dredging techniques are being utilised to deliver the project, which is being undertaken by a Boskalis Westminster Van Oord Joint Venture. The project is also undertaking beneficial reuse of suitable dredged arisings and contributing to a local project to increase the lobster population.

The programme will start with an introduction from Jamie Gardiner at 14:00, followed by speakers from Harwich Haven Authority, Boskalis Westminster Van Oord JV, the RSPB and Mersea Harbour Protection Trust.

Full programme details can be found in the flyer under related documents.

Note: This is an in-person event and advance registration is required. Please register here.

We look forward to welcoming you all in Ipswich.
