Polite Laboyrie succeeds Neville Burt as Chairman of CEDA EC

Polite Laboyrie (Head of Department Hydraulic Engineering and Environment
Rijkswaterstaat, Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, Centre for Public Works) took over the Chair of CEDA's Environment Commission (CEC) during the recent meeting of the group.
Mr Laboyrie will be assisted by two Vice-Chairs, Dr Lindsay Murray, Director – Environment and Ecosystems Division, CEFAS, UK and Anders Jensen, Project Manager Environment Femern Bælt A/S, Denmark.
The new Chairmanship of CEDA EC will be introduced in the June issue of DPC.
The 39th meeting of CEC, hosted by the Port of Le Havre Authority took place on 3-4 April in le Havre, France. Mr Paul Scherrer, Technical Director of Port of Le Havre and Mr François Xicluna Director for Access, Infrastructures and Environment, Port of Rouen Authority, also Chairman of GEODE also attended part of meeting.
CEC had the opportunity to visit the prestigious Port 2000 project during their stay in Le Havre.
